Tiger, Secrets and God

Great article Todd and great quote: "don't believe your own press clippings."
The highs and the lows for all of us aren't nearly as good or as bad as they seem.
Tiger was referred to as a class act when he had a bad temper, foul mouth (in front of kids) and rarely signed autographs.
Now, he's a terrible person.
In the meantime, not one thing has changed about him, just who knows his secrets.

Being famous and extraordinarily wealthy has some drawbacks.
It's pretty amazing that God knows ALL of our secrets and still loves us!
I also continue to pray for Tiger - a guy who can't hit a fairway with a driver to save his life, but is still the greatest golfer of all time. I pray that he turns a corner in life and allows God to work on what's important in his life.

FOLLOWING JESUS IS A DAILY DECISION!

FOLLOWING JESUS IS A DAILY DECISION!

In our politically correct world, we don't talk to people about the "S" word

anymore. It's perfectly acceptable today to cuss "like a drunken sailor" as

they used to say, but I guess it's just NOT EVER ok to use the "S" word, is

it? When was the last time you used the "S" word? When was the last time

you heard the "S" word? SIN is something that can completely destroy our

lives. If we really love our friends, we certainly would be willing to

gently use the "S" word as we love them back towards God. Friends don't let

friends get deeply involved with the "S" word. Friends listen to friends

that love them enough to use the "S" word.

GALATIANS 6:1 Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual

should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.

I'm praying for YOU,

Pastor Dave
